Took a ride to Lantana today to see this interesting old chapel. Now called Chapel of the Holy Spirit, it was part of the Royal Poinciana Hotel and was built in 1894 by Henry Flagler. It now sits on church property in Palm Beach.
This chapel went thru many changes in it's 127 year history, including it's beginnings as a tea house, a guest house, part of a gambling casino, artist studio, guest cottage and a gift shop. Whew.
The old gal must be exhausted though I must say it is in really nice shape for its age.
