I had some spicy cooked onions in a little tub in the freezer and no buns. This turned out to be a great dinner using white bread.
INGREDIENTS:
2 Hot Dogs
2 Slices of White Bread
Mustard, cooked onions and relish
Mayo
RECIPE:
I put a bit of butter in a small frying pan and grilled the hot dogs. Then I just took my two slices of bread and rolled them out using my rolling pin.
After the hot dogs were grilled, I laid each down in the bread, added a line of mustard and folded them up.
Then I coated the outside of the bread with Mayo. Then just put it back in the pan and grilled them on all sides. Easy Peasy.
The bread stayed together so well and did not open while eating. It was perfect!!
