Called the gateway to the Florida Keys, this is the Whaling Wall. Located in Key Largo. This is one of the masterpieces created by the artist known by the single name of Wyland.
What is interesting to note is that although the official dedication was staged Feb. 12, in 2007, Wyland came back in late February to add a Stingray to honor his friend Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter, who tragically died in September 2006, after being pierced in the chest by a stingray spine while snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
